The Kensington Conservancy will host its Sustain Algoma Expo this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnson Township Community Centre in Desbarats.
The family event includes more than 30 vendors and exhibitors with a variety of activities to engage participants such as archery, the Entomica Insectarium, and more.
Admission is free, but donations to the Kensington Conservancy are encouraged.

Join us for a fun family event that promotes sustainable living within the Algoma District. The 2023 Sustain Algoma Expo is taking place on June 17 at the Johnson Township Community Centre in Desbarats from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Entomica Insectarium will have their exotic bug collection, Nottingham North will have archery to try, and Clean North will have their composting worms. There will be a variety of other activities for children as well. Over 30 different vendors and exhibitors will be present.
The expo is being hosted by the Kensington Conservancy as a fundraising event for their conservation efforts in the St. Joseph Channel area. Admission is free but donations are accepted.
All visitors will have a chance to win a door prize donated by Sheri Minardi Photography.
Thank you to the Invasive Species Centre, Central Algoma Freshwater Coalition, Clean North, Township of Johnson, St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan, and North Channel Heating and Air Conditioning for sponsoring this year’s event.
