ARTBREAK at the Art Gallery of Algoma, 10 East St. Learn to create cool multiples using screen print, solftolium block carving, monoprint and collagraph techniques. Create event posters, tee-shirt designs, and fine art designs on paper, wood, acetate, and fabric. All methods are easy to recreate for later home and school production projects. 2nd Annual Charity Fish Derby presented by the Aweres Volunteer Fire Department and Trout Lake Cabins & Marina. This event will take place at Trout Lake Cabins & Marina. Derby entry fee is $10 per person and kids 12 and under are free. 1st prize is $500. Proceeds from this event to benfit the Aweres Volunteer Fire Department. The 11th Annual Rotary Graver Auction will be held from 10am-5pm in the city commission chambers. All proceeds will benefit Rotary's local youth programs. Hundreds of items worth thousands of dollars will be sold to the highest telephone bidders. The auction will air live on Charter Media cable channel 2 and on 1230-WSOO Radio.
