In the meantime, here are a few highlights from the coming weekend:

The Queen Street Cruise takes place at various locations throughout the city on Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18.

Rae Spoon performs at the Gore Street Cafe on Friday, June 17 with guests Hush Pup, Rihkee Strap and Hearts Right In. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Red and the Muscle play The Water Tower Pub at 9 p.m. on Friday, June 17.

Stiffler’s Mom plays the Esquire Club, 103 Second Line West, on Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18 starting at 9:30 p.m.

The inaugural Lock’s Big Picnic at the Sault Ste. Marie Canal runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.

The Sault Blues Society presents its annual Bluesfest at the Canadian Night Club on Saturday, June 18 with headliner Kenny Wayne. Performances begin at 7 p.m.

FOAM, Twistory and Kaepora Gaebora perform at The New American Pub, 602 Bay Street, on Sunday, June 19 starting at 9 p.m.
