The Oddfellows Hall will be hosting a high-energy, all ages show featuring four local punk bands: Bin Hawdon and the Taliband, The Hangdowns, The Bottom Half, and The Crossed.

The Hangdowns (pictured on the left) are a self-proclaimed "full throttle Punk/Comedy act." They claim to rock so hard that they will have everyone singing along to their catchy tunes and laughing at their stage antics within minutes of hitting any stage. Formed in early 2003 deep in the West end of Sault Ste. Marie, this three piece features Marc Muto (drums), Jordan Cumming (guitar/vocals) and Guy Thiffault (bass/vocals). Their goal from the onset was to produce original music while at the same time making absolute idiots of themselves.

Bin Hawdon and the Taliband are a bunch of punks who can always deliver the goods. Originally a cover band, these punkers decided to venture into the uncharted waters of recording original music. With a sound that combines the ever-popular Dwarves and cult-favourites the Screaching Weasel, they have their bases covered in at least three major band areas. According to the band members themselves, they are the "only band you should ever listen to," "the sexiest band you've ever seen," as well as the "skinniest band you've ever seen."

Joining The Hangdowns and Bin Hawdon and the Taliband, are local upstarts The Crossed and The Bottom Half (who although officially broke up, are reuniting for this special holiday show).

Show begins at 7:00 pm. $5.00 at the door. The Oddfellows Hall is located at 124 Dennis Street.
