Trick-or-treat with your family at Algoma University

Algoma University and the Algoma University Students’ Union brings back its Family-Fun Community Trick-or-Treat event this week. 

The event kicks off on Oct. 28 at Algoma University from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Families are welcome to wear costumes and have fun with a traditional trick-or-treat around the university’s campus, where they will have a chance to get goodies and treats at specific stations.

Join Algoma University and the Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) as we welcome back our Family-Fun Community Trick-or-Treat event. The event will be taking place during the evening of Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at the Sault Ste. Marie campus. 

Families are encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy a traditional trick-or-treat around the university’s campus, where they will have the opportunity to fill their bags with goodies and treats at specified stations. This event will begin in the North Wing of campus at Door U near security, taking guests throughout campus, ending at the newly renovated SpeakEasy, where guests can enjoy drinks and snacks! A route map will be provided upon arrival and will be shared on the Algoma University website calendar and social media prior to the event on the University’s Facebook page here. 

Those in attendance are encouraged to donate food items to the AUSU Food Pantry or make a donation to the Children of Shingwuak Alumni Association to participate. We will also be collecting coats/gently used winter clothing for Coats for Kids. All donations are greatly appreciated.
