THURSDAY, JUNE 16 - Toronto’s Elliot BROOD performs at Loplops, 651 Queen St. E. After 825 days, Loplops re-opens its doors and the popular band returns to rip the roof off! Doors open at 7 p.m.

FRIDAY, JUNE 17 - The Queen Street Cruise annual Cruise Night begins at 6 p.m. at the GFL Memorial Gardens. Cars will be staged with access to the GFL parking lot. Music runs from 7 to 10 p.m. and includes a performance from Boneyard. Food Vendors will be on-site.

FRIDAY, JUNE 17 - Tym Morrison performs at the Mike Case Memorial Stage at the Trading Post from 7 to 9 p.m.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - 10th annual Algoma Ride for Autism registration kicks off at 10 a.m. at Strathclair Park, 639 Black Rd. Ride begins at 11:30 a.m. $20 donation per rider/passenger. 100% of money collected will go to the Algoma Autism Foundation. 

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - 5th annual Queen Street Cruise Car show begins with registrations at 8 a.m. $20 per vehicle. Lou Turco from Oldie 93 will be live on location starting at 9 a.m. Live music runs from noon to 4 p.m. Event includes a beer garden and food vendors. Casino night giveaways run until 11 p.m.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - 9th annual Fil-Can Day happens at the Marconi Cultural Event Centre, 450 Albert St. West at 5 p.m. The event is a yearly celebration that coincides with the June 12 anniversary of the Philippines' 1898 Declaration of Independence from Spain. Call 705-255-2456 for tickets.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - Basset performs at The Loft at the Algoma Conservatory of Music at 7 p.m. Toronto-based acoustic songwriters Yasmine Shelton and Sam Clark will take you from a beekeeper's fields to the haunted basement of a second-hand store, in a style that is all their own. With comparisons to Hozier, Bon Iver, and The Milk Carton Kids, their inventiveness shines with the intricate harmonies of Shelton and Clark’s voices wrapping around each other like twin flames in a warm fire. SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - Dryer Fire presents i.o, Distich, and Emma Koro at 285 Wilson St. at 7 p.m. COVID precautions in effect. Limited tickets available - $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Tickets are available here.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony perform at Kewadin Casino in Sault, Michigan at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 available here.

SATURDAY, JUNE 18 - Science Carnival at The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow at The Canal District from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Science Carnival is teaming up with The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow - a two-day community event featuring vendors, fun family activities, local natural wonders, science, and entertainment.
