FRIDAY, APRIL 28

  • AlgomaTrad presents the Barrel Boys at the Old Town Hall in Richards Landing. Music kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
  • Frank Deresti and Shannon Moan perform at The Loft in the Algoma Conservatory of Music at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Musical Comedy Guild hosts its 60th Anniversary Gala event at the Sault Community Theatre Centre at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online and at the SCTC box office.
  • The Zoo's second Hip-Hop Chronicles show happens at Reggie’s Place Tavern. Doors open at 8 p.m. Performers include FVK SXVAD, Kodex, Trappa Skunk, Sound Syndrome, Sawbé and Stoneburgh, and RickE. You must be 18 or older to attend.
  • The Steeltown Playboys hit the stage at The Taproom at Northern Superior Brewing at 8 p.m.
  • Shirley Marie plays Shooters Lounge. Show time is 9 p.m.
  • Jay’s Piston Broke Pub hosts Sound Check starting at 9:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 29

  • The Spring Fling in Bruce Mines features two vendor locations (Lighthouse Community Church Hall and the Bruce Mines Community Centre) and an indoor garage sale at the former Bible Chapel. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
  • Streamline Country plays the Moose Lodge from 2 to 5 p.m.
  • Frank Deresti and Shannon Moan perform at The Loft in the Algoma Conservatory of Music at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Steeltown Silver Band performs at Willowgrove United Church starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Westridge performs at the Water Tower Pub starting at 8 p.m.
  • Matthew James returns to the Whisky Barrel. Music starts at 8 p.m.
  • The Musical Comedy Guild hosts its 60th Anniversary Gala event at the Sault Community Theatre Centre at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online and at the SCTC box office.
  • Shirley Marie plays Shooters Lounge. Show time is 9 p.m.
  • Vanity First plays Reggie’s Place Tavern from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
  • Jay’s Piston Broke Pub hosts Sound Check starting at 9:30 p.m.

SUNDAY, APRIL 30

  • Algoma Makers Market will host a Mother’s Day Market at the Machine Shop from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Arts in the Grove presents Juno award-winning soloist Kathleen Radke, soprano; and multi-talented musician Michael Connell, piano at Willowgrove United Church at 3 p.m.

MONDAY, MAY 1

  • Black Fly Jam presents Stephen Fearing at The Loft in the Algoma Conservatory of Music. Show time is 8 p.m.

THURSDAY, MAY 4

  • The Moose Lodge hosts a jam night from 7 to 10 p.m.
  • There's a jam night at Jay's Piston Broke Pub from 8 p.m. to midnight.

  • Soo Sings for Kids happens live at the Sault Community Theatre Centre on May 10.
