Write stuff: Meet local father-daughter authors at library event

Nevin and Hannah Buconjic will be on hand for a meet-the-authors event later this month

A local father-daughter writing duo will discuss their book on entrepreneurship for young people at a meet-the-authors event hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library.

On Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m., drop by the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library branch at 50 East St. to meet authors Hannah and Nevin Buconjic.

The pair will be discussing their book 25 Money-Making Business Ideas for Kids & Teens, as well as Hannah’s entrepreneurial journey, top tips for young businesspersons, and more.

"Discover age-appropriate business ideas, and be inspired by a No. 1 bestselling young author!" the library said in a news release.

Hannah Buconjic, 10, started her first business at age five: Hannah’s Summer Treats. Hannah is a YouTube creator and author who has been featured on Citytv’s Breakfast Television, the Toronto Star, Shopify Blog and in a story on SooToday.

Nevin Buconjic is a serial entrepreneur, author, and Hannah’s dad. He has started eight businesses and published three books to help anyone start their own business, the library said.

Nevin is also the founder of StartUP Sault Ste. Marie, a non-profit organization connecting entrepreneurs with the community and support they need to succeed.

Copies of 25 Money-Making Business Ideas for Kids & Teens will be available for purchase and signing.
