The inaugural FailFest hosted by StartUP Sault Ste. Marie hopes to "change our mindset around failure." The event will feature a number of guest speakers who will share their experiences of overcoming failure.

StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce a new event called FailFest 2024 on June 12, 2024 at The Loft. This event is meant to change our mindset around failure.

Get ready for an evening filled with laughter, learning, and embracing failure. Fear of failure can cripple our business growth, careers and even our happiness. Learn how to change your view of failure and hear how our four speakers survived and thrived after failure. This event will be entertaining, motivational and fun!

Kick off the event with a glass of wine or a beverage, networking and appetizers followed by inspirational speakers, a failure wall and more. Connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable insights, and celebrate the journey of growth and resilience.

  • Dave Moreno, The Badass Business Coach
  • Erica Hogan, Co-founder and CFO, Hogan’s Homestead
  • Jennifer Johnson – Founder and CEO, InterCultural Avec Immigration Inc.
  • Monique Morrison - Founder and CEO of Success with Digital and BigUps Consulting

“We are excited to create and host this incredible event, to help shift the stigma of failure from negative to positive. The fear of failure is real and can limit our chances of success. Through this event we want to learn to embrace failure and inspire attendees to view failure as learning opportunities and necessary steps to future success. We have four amazing local speakers who will share their stories, along with networking, appetizers and more,” said Holly Infanti, president, StartUP Sault Ste. Marie.
