Algoma University is closed today

ALGOMA UNIVERSITY

Please be advised that the Sault Ste. Marie campus of Algoma University will be closed today as a result of the severe weather system in the region.
All scheduled day and evening classes and tutorials are cancelled.  

The Arthur A.Wishart Library and George Leach Centre are also closed for the day.

Essential services, including the cafeteria, will be open however hours may be impacted.  Residence students will be contacted directly.

Only essential personnel such as security and custodial staff should report to work. The University is expected to open on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2019.

The University will continue to monitor the situation and any related updates will be circulated via email, social media, and on the news section of the Algoma University website.  

 Students, faculty and staff are advised to use caution at all times and to take weather conditions into consideration when travelling.
