Retired judge Norman Douglas has released a new book, You Be The Judge, detailing cases he's dealt with over his career.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a judge? The library is offering you a chance to find out.

On April 6 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., retired judge Norman Douglas — who began his career as a prosecutor in Sault Ste. Marie — will be holding a book signing hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library.

Born in Hawk Junction and raised in the Sault, Douglas is author of the new book "You Be The Judge," which explores real cases and asks readers to weigh in.

Readers are encouraged to purchase their own copy of the book at Scriptures or Coles prior to the event, as a limited number will be available at the event.
