Christmas is over. Take down your tree and bring it here

Clean North's annual Christmas tree collection ends this Saturday.

Jan. 13 is the last day to drop off your Christmas tree at the collection depot, which is in the Cambrian Mall parking lot.

Volunteers will be on-site daily in the early afternoon to assist, but material can be dropped off at any time during the day.

Clean towels and blankets for the Humane Society, as well as used books, magazines, CDs and DVDs for the Friends of the Library, are also being collected.

Mulch created from the chipped trees will be available in late May, free by donation.

More information on the mulch availability will be posted on the Clean North website closer to the date.
