Come get sweaty with Sault College fitness students

Looking to get in shape without breaking the bank? 

Sault College is inviting everyone to participate in free drop-in fitness classes starting next Monday.

The lunchtime sessions are run by the college's Fitness and Health Promotion students.

Get your sweat on while assisting students! Staff, students, and community members are encouraged to support Fitness and Health Promotion students by joining their free drop-in lunchtime group fitness classes! Beginning Monday, Sept. 16, classes will run Monday-Thursday from 12:30-1:15 p.m. in room A1080 at Sault College and it is free to attend! Through these classes, students will further develop the knowledge and skills gained in their program and your participation will be an important part of this growth!

A variety of classes will be offered:

Monday:             TBC

Tuesday:            Choreo Cardio

Wednesday:    Back to Basics Circuit

Thursday:          Walk & Box

A full description of the classes is available at www.saultcollege.ca/freegroupfitness. Every class is modifiable to different abilities and fitness levels. All participants must complete a Get Active Questionnaire before joining their first class. Forms can also be filled out in person before your first class.

“With the start of the new year, we are excited to welcome community members to our group fitness classes to further support our students in their learning and help participants achieve their health goals. Students will have an opportunity to observe, participate, and lead classes to help them grow as fitness and health professionals. Participants can join us once a week or four times a week,” said Heather Pusch, Fitness and Health Promotion Professor.

Parking is available from Northern 1 or 2 Entrance in the A-Lot metered visitor parking, or from Willow 1 Entrance in the Daily Parking lot for $5 upon exit. Please see our campus map for details.
