Come touch a truck this weekend — rain or shine

There will be an increase in the number of police cars and ambulances in the parking lot of the Cambrian Mall on Saturday — but it's nothing to be alarmed about.

Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie will be hosting its third annual Touch-a-Truck event Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Over 30 trucks, which will include cement mixers in addition to police cars and ambulances, will be taking part.

The event will also feature vendors and face painting.

Registration is by donation and is payable online or in person (cash only) with proceeds going to Habitat's Affordable Homeownership Program. 

The event is rain or shine.
