Cyclist taken to hospital after Wellington Street collision (4 photos)

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Sault Ste. Marie Paramedic Services responded to a collision on Wellington Street involving a cyclist and a minivan.

Shortly after 5 p.m., the bicycle collided with a minivan; the female victim who was riding the bicycle was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. 

Tancred Street was closed at Wellington until 5:22 p.m. while paramedics were assisting the woman.

The driver side mirror of the minivan appeared to be torn off as a result of the collision.
