Digital creator program returns to library to 'ignite curiosity'

The Sault library says it has exciting news for digital enthusiasts and budding tech-savvy minds.

"The highly anticipated return of the Digital Creator program at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library is set to ignite curiosity and foster digital literacy among youth and teens in the community," the library said in a release.

"This innovative program offers a diverse range of activities, from exploring 3D printing to delving into coding and AI artwork. Get ready to unleash your creativity and dive into the world of technology with us!"

Here's a breakdown of the program:

1. Introduction to Digital Creator

Drop-in and meet the Digital Creator Intern, enjoy a snack and learn more about the programs.

2. Discover the fun of coding with Scratch!

Join us for an exciting class where kids can learn to create their own games, animations, and stories using Scratch, a beginner-friendly user platform for ages 8 – 14. Please bring your own device, let us know if you need a laptop.
