Work will be taking place this week at the Bellevue Marina to install a new mobility tower in the northeast corner of the marina's parking lot.

On Thursday contractors will be at the marina to perform the work, which includes trenching extending from the parking lot to lower Pine Street to connect essential services.

Access points to the parking lot will be temporarily blocked off in stages as needed in order to ensure public safety.

Visitors are encouraged to use alternate routes to reach the boat launch, kayak launch, and parking areas.

The trenching work is expected to last approximately two to three weeks with the tower installation expected to be scheduled for a later date.
