St. Vincent Place is asking the community for donations of dry pasta.

Can you spare a bag of pasta? St. Vincent Place could definitely use it.

“For the first time, maybe ever, we're asking for donations of small packages of dry pasta,” says a Facebook post from the local food bank. “We normally receive pasta regularly, but donations have slowed down so much lately that we're running low.”

If you are able to donate pasta — or any other items in low supply, including cereal, instant coffee or pasta sauce — the items can be dropped off at their Albert Street East location from Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The organization can be reached at (705) 253-2770.
