Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services says a Tuesday afternoon house fire is not considered suspicious in nature.
Fire crews responded to a report of smoke coming from the upper unit of a multi-unit residential dwelling at 344 Wellington Street East shortly after 1:30 p.m.
A firefighter was injured during the incident and taken to hospital. The injuries are not considered serious.
The investigation is ongoing.
