A downtown gas line break has part of Bay Street closed to traffic from Spring Street to Brock Street.

SooToday's James Hopkin reports that Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services, PUC Services, and Enbridge Gas are all on-scene in response to the incident.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
