Have paws-itively hoppin' time at Bushplane's Easter pet extravaganza

Things are hopping at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre as they get set for the return of their Easter Pet Extravaganza, a family and pet-friendly event that organizers say promises "a day full of fun and pets".

Scheduled for March 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event welcomes individuals, families and their pets to engage in a variety of activities, all while supporting a great cause, the centre said in a news release.

Event highlights include:

• Goat Yoga: "Experience the joy and relaxation of yoga with the playful addition of goats. It's a perfect way to stretch and laugh your way into spring."
• Photos with the Easter Bunny: "Capture the magic of Easter with a memorable photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Perfect for children, your pets and the young at heart and its free!"
• Cookie Decorating: "Unleash your creativity with Easter-themed cookie decorating. A sweet treat that's fun to make and even more fun to eat.
• Dog's Got Talent: Watch talented dogs show off their skills and tricks."
• Scavenger Hunt: "Embark on an Easter scavenger hunt throughout the Bushplane Museum. Fun and surprises await around every corner."
• Face Painting: "Perfectly Painted Faces is back for free face painting!"
• Eden's Reptiles & Entomica: "Get up close and personal with fascinating reptiles and insects, offering an educational experience that's as entertaining as it is informative."
• Piglet Cuddles: "Piglets are coming!"

Tickets are available for purchase online here or can be bought in person on the day of the event. Prices are $6 for adults and $12 for kids.

All proceeds will support the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre and Entomica Insectarium, contributing to their ongoing efforts to educate and inspire through aviation history and entomology.
