Here's the scoop on where you can find Elliott's Ice Cream

Sold in June, signature ice cream shop has officially moved to its new location

Scooped up in June by a new owner, Elliott's Ice Cream is officially back in business at a fresh location.

As SooToday previously reported, the popular downtown shop was sold after seven years on Queen Street to an unnamed buyer, who planned to relaunch the brand somewhere else.

Two months later, that new location has been revealed: The Gelato Mill at the Machine Shop.

"Enjoy all of your favourite treats in one place!" says a recent Facebook post from the shop. "From ice cream cakes, to rolled cones, come get your favourites at The Gelato Mill today!"

Specializing in all sorts of fancy cakes, cones and crepes, Elliott’s proudly made its products fresh and in-house. The cream from their menu items comes straight from northern Ontario dairy producers, while other ingredients like fruits, maple syrup, and honey are all local.

The original owners of Elliott’s Ice Cream & Creperie were Jamie and Tina Elliott.

"We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our loyal customers from over the past 7 years," the owners wrote on Facebook in June, when the business was sold. "It has truly been a joy to have you visit our business and enjoy our many ice cream creations!"
