Hiawatha the place to be on Family Day weekend

If you're looking for something to fill your Family Day weekend, Hiawatha Highlands has you covered.

A number of events are planned, including:

• Nordic Sauna Delight: In partnership with Lakeview Country Rentals, a mobile sauna will be available free of charge. Indoor bathrooms will be available for changing
• Build your own hot chocolate bar.
• Lons Winter Brunch Extravaganza: The selection will include eggs benedict, butternut squash waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and add-ons like maple baked beans, Jersey cheddar biscuits, home fries, and apple honey steel-cut oats. You can ensure your spot by pre-purchasing here.
• Lantern Ski Magic: The enchantment of Hiawatha's Pinder 5km trail will be lit by candlelight on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Special event passes and rentals are available at a reduced rate, and you can get yours at the Kincetre building. (Weather permitting. Click here for trail status)
