The winner of ARCH's 50/50 draw for the month of April is Jerry Verdecchia.

Verdecchia, who regularly purchases tickets for the draw with his wife, won $13,465 and said they plan to continue to support the cause going forward.

"They have a personal connection to ARCH having lost loved ones at Hospice, and expressed how much they appreciate everything that is done for those needing palliative care," said a news release announcing the win.

The win means some extra money set aside for home renovations for the Verdecchia family.

Tickets for the May draw are available online, with the winner's jackpot guaranteed to be at least $9,999.

Early bird draws also happen on the second Wednesday of each month.

Proceeds from the draw go directly toward the care and support provided to residents, community clients and families served by ARCH.

The deadline to purchase tickets for the May draw is May 31 at 9:30 a.m.
