John Rhodes pool change room to get important upgrade

The universal change room at the John Rhodes Community Centre’s pool is getting a new ceiling track lift.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie says this will enhance the accessibility of the facility, but the ceiling track lift won’t be available until Saturday, January 6.

“During this time there is no alternate service, however the accessible change room is available with a high/low change table,” the city said in a news release.

“If you require use of the ceiling track lift to access the pool wheelchair and the pool, please contact the John Rhodes pool staff prior to attending in person to ensure the ceiling track lift installation has been completed,” the city added.
