Local students get a little help to launch summer businesses

Funded by the province, the Summer Company program is administered by the city's economic development division

Twelve local youths will have the opportunity to launch their own businesses this summer thanks to funding from the Summer Company program.

This program provides business training and mentoring to young entrepreneurs in high school or post-secondary to assist them in starting a seasonal business.

This initiative is administered by the Economic Development division of the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

The Summer Company program is funded by the Province of Ontario and is delivered by the city’s Millworks - Centre for Entrepreneurship.
