The change to cooler air will bring showers (and maybe storms) midway through the weekend, but the odds are good for sunshine for at least part of each day

The hot, muggy weather of the last several days will gradually end throughout this long weekend. The change to cooler air will bring showers(and maybe storms) midway through the weekend, but the odds are good for sunshine for at least part of each day.

Skies will clear Friday morning,  with daytime highs of 31°C and humidex values of 35.

Saturday will be mostly sunny as temperatures fall a bit to 29°C.

Clouds and scattered showers arrive Sunday morning, with a northwest wind bringing slightly cooler air.  We should see some sun in the afternoon with daytime highs of 26°C.

More seasonal temperatures and sunshine will return for the holiday on Monday and the start of next week.
