Medics respond to apparent pedestrian collision on Queen Street East

Paramedics and police attended the scene at Queen Street East and Churchill Boulevard at about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday

Paramedics attended to a woman Saturday afternoon after an apparent pedestrian collision on Queen Street East at Churchill Boulevard.

When Sault Ste. Marie Paramedic Services arrived at about 4:15 p.m. the woman was huddled on the westbound bike lane on Queen Street East, directly west of Churchill Boulevard, with a black car stopped nearby. The woman was conscious and speaking to paramedics when placed into the ambulance.

Traffic was slowed but not closed at the time of the emergency response to the incident.
