Nobody injured in Sunday morning house fire on Trelawne

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 10 a.m.; cause of blaze unknown

A Sunday morning fire caused heavy damage to a home on Trelawne Avenue, but Sault Fire Services says nobody was injured.

Firefighters were called to the two-storey residential dwelling in the 100 block of Trelawne shortly before 10 a.m. on Feb. 4.

“Firefighters assisted occupants out of the residence,” says a news release issued this morning. “Fire crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire.”

PUC Services, Enbridge Gas and the Humane Society also attended the scene.

The cause of the fire remains “undetermined,” Sault Fire Services says.
