The Heart and Stroke Big Bike made a return visit to Richards Landing on a brisk and windy, Saturday morning.

About 20 participants boarded the big bike after turning in about $1,500 in donations by the Island chapter and ceremonial photo.

The 20-minute ride began at the Richards Landing Marina and proceeded to Shore Road, Elizabeth Street and Lucy Street areas and return.

Amplified music, with energetic accompaniment inspired pedal power.

"I'm pretty sure we woke up the community of Richards Landing," said organizer, Jesse LaCombe with the Dr. Harold S. Trefry Memorial Centre.

LaCombe is thankful to the community for its support and hopes to see more participate next year.

St. Joseph Island Heart and Stoke is accepting donations to the Big Bike until September.
