Sault College honours perfection from first-year students

Over 200 students were recognized at the President's Academic Excellence Scholarship Ceremony on Tuesday for achieving an overall grade point average of 4.0

On Tuesday, Sault College recognized a number of first-year students for their academic achievements.

A total of 248 students were honoured at the College's annual President's Academic Excellence Scholarship Ceremony, which honours qualifying first-year students who had an overall grade point average of 4.0.

“As president of Sault College, I look forward to the many opportunities to celebrate the successes of our students,” said David Orazietti, oresident Sault College. “It was an honour to stand alongside each of these students and present them with this scholarship that encompasses and reflects their hard work, dedication, and strong commitment to their academics. Achieving a 4.0 is an amazing accomplishment and on behalf of Sault College, I extend our sincere congratulations to each recipient.”

The College will also be holding its annual Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards event being held on March 19. The event honours recipients of the donor sponsored scholarships, bursaries and awards.
