Sault College’s annual homecoming to feature baseball doubleheader

Sault College says its upcoming annual Homecoming event will be a celebration of athletics and fun for the entire community.

On Sept. 14, students, alumni and members of the community are invited to Sinclair Yards (I.D.A. Park) to cheer on the college's men’s varsity baseball team as they take on the Durham College Lords in a baseball doubleheader.

Attendees will also get to enjoy interactive and inflatable games, music, beer gardens and "fun for all ages", the community college said in a news release.

"We are incredibly excited to host our annual Homecoming event,” said Paul Orazietti, the college's director of athletics and student experience.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for our alumni, students, and community members to come together and celebrate our college and our athletics program. We’re looking forward to an afternoon of great baseball and fun to bring our community together.”

Admission to the game is free, with grandstand seating available for $10; children under 12 are free. Fans are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs for an optimal viewing experience.
