The Sault Ste. Marie Museum is welcoming a travelling temporary exhibit in June from the Canadian Museum of Languages and says it will add some local flavour with displays on history, culture of local Francophones.

The exhibit will also revisit the city's English-only resolution in 1990 during a panel discussion.

There will also be crafts, kids programming, a St-Jean-Baptiste Day celebration and, last but not least, donuts!

You can find all the details in the full news release from the museum:

The Sault Museum is thrilled to announce the arrival of the captivating temporary exhibit, “French in Canada: A Local Perspective.” This engaging showcase brings together the rich heritage of French language, culture, and history, both nationally and within our own community.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the help of our sponsors Arthur Funeral Home – Barton and Kiteley Chapel, Centre Victoria pour femmes, Centre Francophone de Sault-Ste-Marie, Centre d’éducation et de formation pour adultes, and Galerie sans clous.
