Shawn Simpson accused of trying to use a stolen credit card

After an incident on March 10, Shawn Simpson was charged with possession of stolen property, using a stolen credit card and breach of bail recognizance

On March 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. officers arrested 44-year-old Shawn Simpson of MacMurray Avenue. 

It is alleged that on March 10 the accused attended a local business in possession of a stolen credit card and twice attempted to use this card to obtain money.  

The accused was also to report to the City Police Station on March 14 as a condition of his bail release which he failed to do.

The accused has been charged with possession of stolen property, two counts of using a stolen credit card and breaching his bail recognizance.

The accused will appear in court on April 18.
