Due to some frightful weather conditions in Sault Ste. Marie, tonight’s trick-or-treat event at Algoma University will be postponed until Wednesday, Nov. 1, the university said in a news release.

Algoma University and the Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) were getting set to once again hold a Community Trick-or-Treat event on Queen Street campus but have been forced to move the date.

Families are still encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy a traditional trick-or-treat on Wednesday, filling their bags with goodies at stations across campus. A route map will be provided and shared in advance on the Algoma University online calendar and Facebook page.

Participants are encouraged to donate food items to the AUSU Food Pantry or make a donation to the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association
