The Algoma Fish and Game Club is honoured to partner with the Legion (Branch 25) to once again host Take a Veteran Fishing on Sept. 24. This guided day of fishing starts at the temporary home of the Legion, the Marconi Cultural Event Centre, at 7 a.m. where AFGC members will show our gratitude by taking service members out on our local waters for a day of fishing and fellowship.

Both Active Duty and Veteran Military Service Members are welcome to register by contacting the Legion; once registered, the AFGC will take care of everything else! Thanks to Tim Hortons, coffee and snacks will be waiting for us, along with the boxed lunches for the boat. Once back on land, at 4 p.m., we'll meet at our title sponsor Highland Ford for photos and fish stories with all of our family, friends and fans! Dinner will complete the day back at the Marconi.

The AFGC invites any and all interested Veterans and Active Duty Military Members to contact the Legion today to register. There is no cost to the member, and your friends, family, and fans are welcome to join us for dinner ($25 tickets available).
