The public feedback period for the City of Sault Ste. Marie's draft Corporate Strategic Plan closes in just under a week.

The official close date for feedback is Sept. 10.

The City of Sault Ste. Marie reminds residents that the public feedback period for its draft Corporate Strategic Plan closes on September 10. The public is encouraged to review the draft plan and provide feedback online.

The plan highlights several key priorities:

Community Development – Supporting economic diversification, working towards a healthy and safe community, ensuring fair access opportunities for all, and continuing to build our relationships with First Nations and Métis communities. 

Quality of Life — Creating a welcoming community with a vibrant downtown, strong arts and culture sector, and four-season recreational opportunities.

Infrastructure — Investing in modern, sustainable infrastructure to support growth

Service Delivery — Streamlining processes, leveraging technology, enhancing customer service, and collaborating with community partners. 

The plan will guide decision-making, resource allocation, and operational priorities, over the next four years. Community members are encouraged to submit their input to help shape the future direction of the City. For more information, click here.
