We should see a little sunshine this weekend, and even a flurry here and there, but cold air will arrive on a cold, northerly wind.  Daytime highs this weekend will fall below normal values for the middle of February.

On Friday, we will see a mix of sun and cloud, with colder air moving into the region. Temperatures will be below -6°C all day with a cold northerly wind, making it feel more like -12. 1-3cm of light snow is possible in the evening and overnight.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with daytime highs only reaching -6°C. Windchill values will be in the minus teens with a light southerly wind.

Light snow arrives on Sunday with afternoon temperatures that climb to -3°C. Strong northwest winds arrive to keep windchill values in the minus teens.

The cold air hangs on into early next week before daytime highs climb back to near the freezing mark by the middle of the week.
