Workweek Outlook: Hot and dry to end August

Warmer-than-normal conditions are expected for at least a week, maybe two
weather_weekday_outlook

A blocking pattern in the overall flow of weather systems across the country will bring stable weather conditions for Northern Ontario in the days ahead. The sunshine and warmer-than-normal conditions that build this week are expected to remain in place for at least a week - maybe two. Our next opportunity for rain could hold off until the end of the month.

Monday will be mostly sunny, with a cool north wind keeping afternoon temperatures at 21°C. Tuesday will continue sunny with daytime highs of 21°C.

The sunny weather continues into Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures climbing to the mid-20s.

A few afternoon clouds will move in on Friday, and a gusty southerly wind will push daytime highs to 27°C. The dry and mostly sunny weather will continue into this coming weekend, with warmer-than-normal temperatures.
