By the end of the week, we will see a ten-degree drop in temperatures, and this time, we won't see warmer air return

The next several days will bring daytime highs 5-10 degrees warmer than normal under mostly sunny skies. However, that could be the last extended period of warm weather for a while. By the end of the week, we will see a ten-degree drop in temperatures, and this time, we won't see warmer air return — instead, it's likely to remain closer to normal values for early September.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a light southwest wind and afternoon temperatures of 25°C.  Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a few clouds in the morning and evening as daytime highs reach 26°C.

Thursday will start sunny, with temperatures again near 26°C. Clouds and rain will arrive in the evening and overnight. Friday will be mostly cloudy, with a few sunny breaks and isolated showers as daytime highs drop to 16°C.

Watch for more rain and possibly even colder temperatures for this coming weekend.
