This final week will follow the familiar weather patterns of the last month as May comes to a close. Over the last few weeks, temperatures have been slightly warmer than usual for May, and rainfall has been somewhat higher than normal.  Early this week, we will add a little more rain, while at the end of the week, we will return to sunny weather and more of slightly warmer-than-average conditions.

Light rain will fall intermittently throughout Monday as afternoon temperatures reach 18°C. We should see a few sunny breaks on Tuesday, but lots of cloud cover remains over the region as daytime highs remain near 16°C.

Sunny skies return on Wednesday, but a chilly northwest wind will keep temperatures near 17°C.  The sunshine continues into Thursday and Friday, with daytime highs climbing back above 20°C.

A few clouds move in this weekend, but the next bout of rain should hold off until early next week.
