In what can only be described as a historic winter (or lack thereof) gets even more bizarre in the week ahead. We should see record-breaking heat for at least a few days over ten degrees warmer than normal values for early February.
Rain is expected to arrive at the tail end of this heat, which will help melt any of the snow that has managed to hang on. Slightly cooler arrives this coming weekend but will still be almost five degrees warmer than normal.
We could see some sunshine Monday morning, but clouds move in during the afternoon as daytime highs are near +3°C. Tuesday brings mostly cloudy skies with daytime highs near +5°C.
Wednesday will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures shooting up to +6°C. A chance of rain arrives overnight.
We could see some sunshine on Thursday as temperatures climb to +7°C. Rain arrives on Friday, but daytime highs remain several degrees above freezing.
