The Sault region might see the weather cooperate on Monday for the eclipse as clouds could part just in time to see the big show - but it will be close. The rest of the week will see temperatures climb into the mid-teens before some rain at the end of the week cools things off to more normal temperatures for early April.

Monday morning will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of an isolated shower around noon. Skies should start to clear in the afternoon, possibly just in time to see some of the eclipse between 2-4pm. Temperatures in the afternoon will be near 13°C, with a gusty east wind developing.

Tuesday brings a mix of sun and cloud with periods of light rain and daytime highs of 15°C. Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with afternoon temperatures near 16°C.

Clouds begin to move into the Sault area on Thursday as daytime highs slip to the lower teens.  Rain begins that evening and will likely continue into Friday when temperatures drop below 10°C.
