Hurricane Beryl will land in Texas on Monday and weaken substantially before moving north. The current forecast track of Beryl's remnants is up the Mississippi and into the Great Lake region, bringing widespread heavy rain to parts of Ontario.

The Sault region will be spared the worst of the wet weather and will only receive a glancing blow. Rain and isolated storms are likely along the northern edge of Beryl, which will cross our region on Wednesday. Heavy rainfall is expected in parts of Southern Ontario.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered thunderstorms moving into the region in the afternoon as daytime highs reach 27°C. Mostly sunny skies return Tuesday with temperatures near 24°C.

Wednesday brings a mix of sun and cloud, with the remnants of Beryl pushing scattered afternoon thunderstorms into the region as daytime highs hit 25°C.

Sunshine will return on Thursday and Friday, with afternoon temperatures climbing into the high 20s on both days.
