Love it or hate it, the downtown plaza is now a real thing.

After years of debate and delays, the polarizing construction project officially opened on Nov. 16.

Will there ever come a day when people forget that the plaza cost $11.6-million? Probably not. 

But here's the real question: Was it money well spent? Give it a bit more time and we'll know the answer.
