Jessica King netted 24 points and Paula Fagan added 12 as Sports Gold cuffed Root River Raptors 46-26 in one of two Algoma Basketball Association girls spring league games played Sunday at the Bawating gym.
Roberta Reid had 11 points for Root River and Erika Warren added eight.
In the other game, Renata Thelland had 17 points, Steph Davies came through with 10 and Emily Kozak contributed nine as Primo Pizza edged Sal-Dan Developments 46-45.
Alexis Ambeault managed 17 points, Leeann Schildroth had 16 and Jenna Buck chipped in with 10 for Sal-Dan.
