AUC to host inaugural Challenge Cup

ALGOMA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE ATHLETICS

The first annual Algoma U Challenge College Basketball Cup will be played this upcoming weekend here at the George Leach Centre, Algoma University College.

This tournament will feature the following teams: Georgian College (Barrie, Ontario), Kirtland College (Roscommon, Michigan), Gogebic College (Ironwood, Michigan) and Algoma University College.

This will be the first all College basketball tournament to be held ever in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Admission to games is $3.00 a game or a weekend package can be purcahsed for $5.00.

Friday, October 13

6:00 PM - Kirtland vs. Gogebic 8:00 PM - Algoma vs. Georgian

Saturday, October 14

10:00 AM - Kirtland vs. Algoma 12:00 PM - Georgian vs. Gogebic 4:00 PM - Kirtland vs. Georgian 6:00 PM - Algoma vs. Gogebic
