The AOE/Service Master Wildcats captured the silver medal over the weekend at the Whitby Wolves Girls Hockey Tournament.
In the gold medal game on Sunday, the Wildcats lost a heartbreaker to Guelph in a shootout 1-0.
After dropping a 2-1 decision to Brantford in the opening game, the Wildcats rang off two consecutive wins, including a 5-1 victory over Kingston and a 5-0 blanking of Gloucester, to advance to the title match.
Brianne Veale scored four goals in the win over Kingston while Jasmine Roy scored the other. Against Gloucester, Kelsey Bentrovato recorded the shutout in goal while Jessica D'Angelo scored twice with singles going to Alyssa Mason, Roy and Veale. Sarah McCulloch scored the lone goal in the loss to Brantford.
