Bantam Black Sox looking for provincial three-peat

The Soo Select Baseball Association, is again hosting this years Bantam 'A' Provincial Championships at Sinclair Yards.

The Elks 341 Bantam Black Sox are the two time Provincial Champions and they will be looking for a three-peat on the Labor Day Weekend.

The Black Sox open the tournament Friday Sept 2 at 6pm versus the Ajax Spartans. Later in the evening Sudbury plays host to the Guelph Major Bantams at 8:30. Then the Aurora Bantam Jays play thier first game of the tournament Saturday morning at 9AM.

All four local Black Sox teams will be participating in Provincial Championships this year. The Cambrain Mazda Black Sox are off this weekend to Mississauga to defend their 2004 Championship.

The Station Mall/RBC Mosquito Black Sox travel to Aurora and the Sports Gold Pee Wee Black Sox travel to Vaughn on the Labour Day weekend as well to try and bring their Provincial Championship trophies home.

Admission to all games at Sinclair Yards is free, so bring the whole family out to cheer on the Black Sox.
