The Soo Black Sox winning ways continued on Saturday morning as they defeated the Mancelona Orange Crush 11-1 at Strathclair field.

The Back Sox used another strong pitching performance and timely hitting to defeat the Michigan-based Orange Crush for the second straight day. The Black Sox defeated Mancelona 6-0 on Friday night.

Christopher Buonomo started for the Black Sox and pitched outstanding, giving up just three hits and one run over four innings. He walked just two hitters to pick up the victory. Tyler Wilson pitched the final two innings. Wilson struck out three in the two scoreless innings of work.

J.J. Bergamin led the way offensively with a home run and a single and scored three runs in the win. Joey Lesage added a double and a triple with a pair of runs scored. Jacob Yukich and Wyatt Curry each added a pair of singles and a run scored in the win.

Next action for the Black Sox will be Sunday morning when they open a double header at home against the Traverse City Rockets beginning at 10 a.m.
